Linn County March 2022 Newsletter (Mar 02, 2022)

February was a busy month for our club! We built Little Free Pantries, had an article published in the Mt. Vernon-Lisbon Sun about the CPR class, coordinated another CPR class at the Marion fire department (which the event debuted on KCRG!), and helped Susan at Central Furniture Rescue assemble shelving. And...Rotary turned 117 years old! Happy Birthday, Rotary!

This month we look forward to hearing from John Wasta, District 5970's Foundation Chair, at our regular meeting on Wed, Mar 9 at 5:30pm at Stewart Baxter in Marion. He will present to us about the Rotary Foundation and how funds are used within the district. We look forward to seeing you there.

March came in like a lamb...will it go out like a lion?

March Foundation

As of this writing, our Club is on the verge of meeting our Annual Fund goal and within striking distance of our PolioPlus giving goal. It continues to be a successful year for the Linn County Rotary in terms of giving, service, fellowship, and involvement. With those successes now is the time to focus on another goal we have yet to meet – to join the ranks qualifying as an Every Rotarian Every Year Club.
