On March 8, members of our group delivered furniture for Central Furniture Rescue--an organization that gives furniture to those in need in Cedar Rapids.On March 8, members of our Rotary club delivered furniture from Central Furniture Rescue to a family in Cedar Rapids.
It was precious to hear their little girl say, “I get to sleep in my own bed tonight!”
Central Furniture Rescue efforts prevent tens of thousands of pounds of furniture from going to the local landfill every year.
This furniture goes back into homes in our community where it gets a second chance at life.
