Linn County Newsletter (May 03, 2023)

Hi friends,

I have a few new implementations that need mentioning:

We as a club took a vote and decided by popular demand that meetings will remain on Wednesdays, and we will have a social time from 5:30-6:00PM before our speaker begins, then listen to our speaker and conduct club business from 6:00-6:30PM.

At our meeting on 4/12, I mentioned that three projects are in the running for a Metro Rotary project (all the CR area clubs = the Metro).

"Our" project is the Linn County Trails Association project. They presented to our club this winter, and the club agreed that we would like to do a project with them at some point in the future. Ultimately, Downtown is driving this initiative, which is to join all the clubs in a collective project. The "winning" project will be funded this year.

Please reply to the email I sent with your preferred project, and I will vote at Metro according to the most popular project among our club members.
