President's Message
Please join us November 10th as our District Governor Jeff Hassman joins us. You will enjoy Jeff's charisma and passion for Rotary.
The holidays are fast approaching, and we will continue our tradition of supporting families at the Marion Independent School District. We should be receiving numbers of family members and wish lists soon. I hope you all participate in some way to make others’ lives better. You can help by donating cash, shopping, and/or wrapping gifts at our meeting on December 8th.
We will also create a new tradition of a gift exchange at that same meeting (December 8th). All participants should bring a wrapped gift valued between $15-$20 for an exchange.
However, if you choose to celebrate the holidays, we hope you choose to do it with Rotary.
In the October edition of Rotary magazine, an interview with Aidan O’Leary, Polio Eradication Director for the World Health Organization, was published talking about the current opportunity we have to eradicate polio.
