Marshalltown suffered extensive damage in a series of tornados last Thursday.  Schools, factories, businesses, town square, the hospital, and many homes have been damaged.

Church of Christ disaster recovery sent a semi load of food, diapers, cleaning stuff, and other supplies to Marshaltown church of Christ 1402 S. Center St in Marshalltown.

The church and the disaster recovery team have put together a plan to help the community.
We have an opportunity to take a team of volunteers this Saturday to Marshalltown and help. We will be helping where ever the need is.  It maybe helping with the dispersement of supplies, cleaning up debris, to using chain saws to cut up trees.

The factories are Marshalltown a largest employers. With the extensive damage to the buildings the employees will be out of work and on unemployment for an extended time. Unemployment equates to about 40% of there regular income. There will be a continued need to help families with food, back to school expenses, as well as other needs.

Please met at central church of Christ
