Our club is hosting the Rotary RAGBRAI team! It could end up being a great fundraiser for our club. Also, John Schultz is riding his bike to the International Convention in Houston, TX. He needs your help!!!

RAGBRAI will take place the last full week of July 23rd until the 30th. We will load up and return to Cedar Rapids. We are looking for assistance in the following ways:

  1. We need a support driver. This person would travel with us from Cedar Rapids, through the ride and back to CR. They would stay with us, provide support to riders through the day and do some shopping for the team to get ice, snacks and refreshments. Its an amazing way to experience RAGBRAI without sweating across the corn fields. We would supply a small honorarium, food and cover other expenses for this person. Plus they would be showered with endless gratitude.
  2. We need housing for several of the overnight towns. What this means is a flat or nearly flat yard to set up tents, use of a bathroom and shower in the house and a place for our truck and trailer to park.

We will leave the home in as good or better condition as we found it. If you have any leads or can broadcast this to friends and family, it would be greatly appreciated! Here is what we need:Sargent Bluff: Evening of July 23rdIda Grove: Evening of July 24thEmmetsburg: Evening of July 26thWest Union: Evening of July 29thLansing: Day of July 30th for load up and clean up only.Finally...I am biking across the country to the International Convention.
