For Basic Education and Literacy Month (August), we have a special, heartwarming story from one of our own members. Tedde and Hunter's Little, Trae, just turned 8 and loves school, especially reading. Below are the questions I (Tedde) asked him (Trae):
What do you like about school?
I love reading, art class, my teacher, and playing outside with my friends.
Reading?
It’s my favorite!
What do you like to read?
Captain Underpants (hahaha) and anything about nature.
How was your first day of school?
Good (shy smile). I really missed it. I love school!
What do you hope to learn more about this year?
I want to take lots of trips to Wicky Up Hill and learn more about nature!
