Last week Jake Krob, a fellow Rotarian, talked with us about the changing landscape of newspapers and how that affects our local newspaper. We enjoyed our second week at Cornell College. We discussed the upcoming Tri-City Meeting for this fall which will be hosted by our club. A subcommittee was formed including John S and Cot. We also discussed the idea of doing a fundraiser during Heritage Days this year. Maybe face painting or something simple.

 

This week Bill Rider will be talking about his recent travels.  He is planning to take the this week an next week to show us about his trip.

 

We have found that ordering one by one before the meetings at Zamora's is a little slow. We are asking that you place your order in advance by about an hour so that they can have everything ready for us when we start our meeting at 11:45 am. You may call them before you arrive. During the school year this will not be necessary because we will be able to go through the main cafeteria for our meals.
