What's Up? November 8th
Thank you District Governor Neil Fell for sharing with us your goals for the year as well as reminding us about some of the history of Rotary!  Several of us also enjoyed the presentation and dinner at the Wapsi Country Club hosted by the Anamosa Rotary Club.  We learn a great deal about the late 1920s and early 30s era of Grant Wood and several of his colleagues from the era.   It was informative and fun!  Thank you Anamosa!

Our speaker this week is Amy Doerrfeld from ASAC.  She will be talking about Opioids and Narcan.

Finally, we are very excited to be hosting an informational night for Youth Exchange on Saturday evening.  Please check out our event information in this email or on the website.  Additionally, if you are (sadly) unable to attend the event, but would like to support our efforts to bring students to and from the USA for a year of cultural exchange, please use the button below to make a donation to our program.  The funds will be used to support incoming and outgoing students on their adventures abroad.  It takes about $3000 each year for a club to support an outbound and an inbound student.  The funds are used for RYLA training, District training, monthly stipend, school lunch, school activity fees, school supplies, etc.  Please consider supporting this program.
